The authorities of Serbia have approved a restriction on the price of sugar in retail stores for all types of packaging. This was reported by the information portal RuSerbia.
Previous restrictions only applied to one-kilogram packages, with a maximum price of 89.99 dinars (according to the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia at the date of publication - 34 rubles).
Wholesale suppliers must send sugar to the retail market within 15 days.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, noted that there is no need for citizens to stockpile sugar, and the responsibility for the shortage lies with an oligarch from the Kolubara District who is trying to profit from this. However, BIA and other competent authorities are already dealing with this issue.
