The beet yield in the Stavropol Krai is lower due to drought: more than 60% of the sown areas have already been harvested.

In the Stavropol region, more than 60% of sugar beets have been harvested. The yield of 384 tons per hectare is slightly lower due to drought. In 40 farms on 36,000 hectares, sugar beets are grown with a yield of up to 600 tons per hectare and a sugar content of 17%.

The "Stavropolsakhar" plant processes 5200 tons of beets per day and plans to increase this amount to 8000 tons after modernization.

In the Stavropol Krai, sugar beets harvesting continues, with more than 60% of the sown areas already harvested at a yield of 384 centners per hectare, slightly lower than last year due to drought, as reported by "Stavropolskaya Pravda" publication.

More than 40 farms in five districts, including Izobilnensky and Kochubeevsky, are engaged in beet cultivation on a total area of 36 thousand hectares. The highest yield is achieved in the Kochubeevsky district - 600 centners per hectare, with sugar content in beets reaching 17%.

The "Stavropolsakhar" plant currently processes up to 5200 tons of beets per day and plans to increase its productivity to 8000 tons after equipment modernization.
