The sunflower yield has reached a record of 25 centners per hectare in the Belyaevsky district of the Orenburg region.

In September, the region harvested 96.2 thousand tons of sunflower from an area of 66.5 thousand hectares.

The highest crop yields were achieved on the farms of Belyaevsky district - 25.0 c/ha, followed by Northern district (23.3 c/ha) in second place, and Kurmanayevsky district (20.0 c/ha) in third.

By the end of September, 66.5 thousand hectares have been cultivated with sunflowers in the region. The total harvest amounted to 96.2 thousand tons, with an average yield reaching 14.5 hundredweight per hectare.

According to the report of the local Department of Agriculture, the best results in terms of productivity are observed on farms in Belyaevsky district, where up to 25.0 hundredweight of seeds are collected per hectare.

In second place are the farms of the Northern district with a yield of 23.3 hundredweight per hectare, while Kurmanayevsky district closes the top three leaders with a yield of 20.0 hundredweight per hectare.
