In the Turkestan region, 14 thousand hectares of land out of 896 thousand hectares allocated for crops have been sown. 338 thousand hectares are reserved for cereals and 72.7 thousand hectares for oilseeds. 17.5 thousand units of machinery are involved in the work.

In the southern part of Kazakhstan, the sowing season has begun. According to reports, last week in the Turkestan region, 14 thousand hectares of farmland were sown, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The total area allocated for sowing in this region is 896 thousand hectares, which is 24 thousand hectares more than last year's figures.

Out of this total volume, 338 thousand hectares are reserved for sowing cereal crops (in 2024 - 333 thousand hectares), and 72.7 thousand hectares for oilseeds (in 2024 - 71.3 thousand hectares).

To carry out spring field work in the region, 17.5 thousand units of agricultural machinery will be involved (the readiness of the machinery is 98%).
