In one of the municipal districts of the Tambov region, an event broke out that caused considerable excitement - the opening of a new grain cleaning complex owned by Lipovka LLC. This complex, capable of processing up to 3.6 tons of grain per day, was opened during a ceremony in which Governor Maxim Egorov, the constant guardian of the interests of the Tambov region, took part.
The agricultural enterprise has been thriving in the vast expanses of Tambov land for several years now. Here, virtually every step is accompanied by the invaluable efforts of the last several decades. The entire complex, including grain drying plants, granaries, elevator structures and silo towers, is equipped with the most modern technologies. Currently, the company employs about 200 highly qualified specialists, where each of them makes their own invaluable contribution to prosperity and growth.
Construction of the grain cleaning complex began recently in 2021. The total investment was estimated at approximately 300 million rubles, which fully reflects the scale of the project and its significance for the region.
The scope of activity of the enterprise includes drying, primary processing, storage and processing of grains and oilseeds. However, in fact, it is planned to introduce a process for cooling grain after drying, which, on the one hand, will increase the quality of the products, and on the other hand, will reduce the time frame of the production process.
Agriculture has been the main economic pillar of the Tambov region for many years. The share of this industry in the gross regional domestic product is about 30%. Among the variety of agricultural products collected in this area, 66% are crops. And the main contribution to this segment is made by grain crops.
In 2023, the grain harvest in the Tambov region is expected to be a staggering 5.3 million tons. And the total storage capacity of grain and legumes in the region is 5 million 348 thousand tons. The new grain cleaning complex will increase the total storage capacity by another 12 thousand tons, which is a significant achievement for the region and a potentially useful trophy for all farmers and agrarians in the region.
“The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, always rolls out priceless tasks for us - to provide enterprises with raw materials, and our people with food. And our wonderful region copes with these tasks successfully and efficiently. We strive to work in positive dynamics, increasing the quality and competitiveness of our local agricultural products, expanding processing and storage capabilities with subsequent effective sales,” said Maxim Egorov, head of the Tambov region, showing high dedication and determination in solving these problems.
