Sunflower harvesting for grain continues in the Orenburg region. As of October 19, 2023, 813.4 thousand hectares were threshed, which amounted to 72 percent of the total harvested area. The regional Ministry of Agriculture spoke about this.
The department noted that 971 thousand tons of grain have already been threshed with an average yield of 11.9 c/ha.
The best results in cleaning areas were recorded in the Aleksandrovsky district - this is 95 percent, Kurmanaevsky - 93 percent and Ponomarevsky - 92 percent.
The highest yield was in the Asekeyevsky district - 16.6 c/ha, Severny - 16.2 c/ha and Kurmanaevsky - 16.1 c/ha.
