Two oilseed processing plants will be launched in Kostanay by 2024.

By 2024, it is planned to launch two oilseed processing plants in Kostanay, as reported by the "APK News" agency.

TOO "Prombaza-7" is preparing to implement the first project for processing oilseeds. Within the project, a new line for bottling vegetable oil is planned to be installed. The cost of this project is estimated at 300 million tenge. After commissioning, the plant will be able to produce 16 thousand tons of products per year," - said the head of the agriculture and land relations department of the Kostanay region, I. Bekmuhammedov, at a briefing.

The second project is being carried out by TOO "Agro Liga."

"Agro Liga" is completing the construction of an oil extraction plant for the production of sunflower oil. The project, costing 404 million tenge, will allow the enterprise to produce 6.7 thousand tons of products per year," the speaker said.

Implementation of these projects will increase production within the country, as well as lead to an increase in tax revenues to the budget and an increase in the volume of agricultural product exports, emphasized the speaker.
