The governor and the vice-premier discussed the situation in the agricultural sector, including the restoration of gardens in the region, including fruit and berry crops. They also addressed the issue of restoring the irrigation system. This year, six projects on land reclamation were submitted from the Kherson region for the competition.
The importance of high-quality implementation of spring field work in the Kherson region was emphasized by Dmitry Patrushev. The region must monitor the implementation of the planned structure of sown areas and oversee the financial support of agriculture, including the provision of seeds, mineral fertilizers, fuel and oils, as well as agricultural machinery.
The meeting also touched upon the development of the region's fish farming complex with the aim of increasing fishing volumes and expanding the range of products with high added value, thereby creating opportunities for the establishment of efficient production and new jobs.
Dmitry Patrushev and Vladimir Saldo also discussed the results of the national project "Ecology" and Kherson region's readiness for the activities of the new national project "Ecological Wellbeing."
The region is participating in four federal projects: "Closed Cycle Economy," "Water of Russia," "Forest Conservation," and "General Cleanup." Over 2 billion rubles are allocated for these projects in the region until 2030.
