Increased rainfall is reducing sugar exports from Brazil due to issues with loading ships at ports.

The increase in precipitation complicates the operation of Brazil's export ports, causing delays in loading ships with soybeans, corn, and sugar. Heavy rains and high demand worsen the issue, leading to an increase in waiting time up to 33 days and a delay in sugar deliveries.

Increasing rainfall is creating problems for Brazil's export ports, which must deal with huge volumes of soybeans, corn, and sugar. Delays in ship loading lead to additional expenses, according to information from Nasdaq.

Brazilian ports were already facing high demand, but heavy rains and other factors have further increased the pressure. One of the leading traders of an export coffee company expressed concern about container availability, which slowed exports in September.

The use of containers for sugar has increased by 86%. The waiting time for loading at the sugar terminal in the port of Santos has increased to 33 days. Sugar shipments from Brazil are being delayed, and the number of ships waiting for loading has increased by 40%, reaching 4.2 million tons.
