Last week, light rains occurred almost throughout the country, but they did not interfere with the harvesting campaign, allowing the sunflower market to gradually saturate.
However, the problem of forming a raw material base at enterprises still existed. Sunflower sales were mainly carried out by small batches of farmers, either due to the lack of storage facilities or the need to replenish working capital. However, large batches were becoming more frequent.
Overall, sunflower prices remained within the range of 20,000-21,200 UAH/ton EXW. However, plants in need of urgent raw material reserves were still willing to pay extra for large volumes, resulting in individual purchase prices reaching 21,400-21,500 UAH/ton EXW and above.
