As of September 12 of the current year, Ukrainian farmers have harvested 30% of the sunflower fields. It is reported that almost 3 million tons of oilseed products were harvested from 1.5 million hectares. This indicates an increase in average yield to 1.98 tons per hectare, which is a growth compared to the previous week when the average yield was 1.78 tons per hectare. However, it is worth noting that this result does not reach the level of last year, which was 2.18 tons per hectare.
In addition, it is noted that Ukrainian farmers have also harvested 34% of the soybean crops, amounting to 1.85 million tons from an area of 909.5 thousand hectares. It is important to emphasize that the average soybean yield has also increased to 2.03 tons per hectare, compared to last week's figure of 1.86 tons per hectare. However, it is necessary to mention that this figure remains below last year's level of 2.56 tons per hectare.
Regarding the corn harvest, it stands at 6% (1.1 million tons from an area of 255.3 thousand hectares). It is important to note that the average corn yield is 4.32 tons per hectare, which is a decrease compared to last week's figure of 4.63 tons per hectare, and also below the level of last year, which was 5.42 tons per hectare.
