In early September, in the fields where sunflowers are grown in various regions of Kazakhstan - Abay, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, and Kostanay - the phase of maturity known as harvesting ripeness was observed. Most plants were in good or even excellent condition, as reported by Kazhydromet in its decade review.
Field flax growing in the northern part of the Kazakh region was in the phase of initial yellow ripeness and full yellow ripeness in the studied areas. Most plants were in good or satisfactory condition.
In the northern part of the country, harvesting of spring grains continued.
For spring grains in the northern half of the country, the main phase is full ripeness, the Akmola region noted wax and full ripeness, while on late sowings - milky ripeness. In the west of the country, wax and full ripeness were observed. The condition of spring wheat and barley was mostly good and sometimes satisfactory.
The corn fields in the Almaty, Zhambyl, Jetysu, and Turkistan regions reached full ripeness, and in the area of the Shelk meteorological station in the Almaty region, wax ripeness was observed. Most plants were in good or even excellent condition. Harvesting began in the area of the Saudakent meteorological station in the Zhambyl region.
It is noted that in the topsoil layer (one meter deep), almost all regions of the country have created optimal and satisfactory conditions for moisture accumulation, except for the Mangystau, Kostanay, and Kyzylorda regions, where a lack of moisture was noted in all soil layers.
