The grain agency of Tunisia has successfully held a tender to purchase 100,000 tons of soft and hard wheat of various origins.

Buildcom and Cargill have won the tender for the purchase of soft wheat, while Viterra, Casillo, and Amber have won for the purchase of hard wheat.

The deliveries will be made from March 1st to April 5th, 2025.

On December 29, the Grain Agency of Tunisia (ODC) attracted great interest on its website, and not without reason - the recent tender for the purchase of 100,000 tons of soft wheat and 100,000 tons of hard wheat of various origins deserves attention. According to information provided by the Grain Online agency, the purchase met the predetermined volume.

Despite stiff competition, several companies managed to win the tender for the purchase of soft wheat. Buildcom was able to acquire 25,000 tons at a price of $260.77 C&F, while Cargill set prices for their 25,000 tons ranging from $261.17 to $263.55 C&F.

Prizes in the tender for the purchase of hard wheat were also distributed unfairly. Viterra obtained the right to purchase 25,000 tons at a price of $340.28 C&F, while Casillo and Amber emerged victorious, evaluating their purchase at $347.68 and $347.89 C&F respectively. Casillo was also able to acquire another 25,000 tons at a price of $349.89 C&F.
