According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov, Tunisia is showing interest in expanding the import of Russian grain into the country. This was reported by the "Interfax" news agency.
During a press conference in Tunisia, Sergey Lavrov emphasized that the intergovernmental commission, which will resume its activities in the near future, will actively monitor all processes and provide political support if necessary.
The Foreign Minister noted that Tunisia is interested in concluding new contracts for the supply of Russian grain. He emphasized Russia's readiness to meet this demand thanks to the successful work of domestic agricultural enterprises and favorable climatic conditions. Lavrov pointed out that in recent years, Russia has achieved high grain production levels, allowing for record exports.
