The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has announced a tender for the purchase and delivery of soybean and sunflower seeds to support small farmers living and working in war zones whose farms have been affected by war. This information was provided by the press service of the FAO representative office in Ukraine on January 24.
According to the message, it is planned to purchase 160 tons of soybean seeds in 50 kilogram bags and 650 sowing units of sunflower seeds.
It is also noted that potential suppliers may offer full or partial quantities of seeds under this tender.
To participate in the tender, suppliers must apply through the UN Global Marketplace.
The application deadline is February 5, 2024.
