Demand for soybeans is pushing prices up in the Ukrainian market: slowing down the decrease in soybean prices.

In the Ukrainian market, prices for soybeans have slowed down their decline due to high demand and an increasing demand from processors. Currently, soy prices in the domestic market are estimated at around 17,000 UAH/ton. The increase in demand supports prices, but the global soy market is exerting pressure.

On the Ukrainian market, there was a slowdown in the decline of soybean prices last week.

High demand for this crop in the direction of ports and increased demand from processors halted the price decline and gradually contributed to their recovery.

Currently, prices on the domestic market for soybeans (GMO) are estimated on average at 17,000 UAH/ton DAP.

It should be noted that the increase in demand for soybeans will support prices. However, there is significant pressure from the global market for this crop. This is due to the expansion of soybean areas in Argentina, increased soybean production in Brazil, and tension related to statements by the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump about possible tariffs on goods from China, Canada, and Mexico.
