Creation of our own raw materials site in the Kulundinsky district of the Altai Territory

The Smart company acquired 16 thousand hectares of land in the Kulundinsky district of the Altai Territory to create its own raw materials site. Previously, the company purchased raw materials in Altai, but now they decided to create their own raw materials site by analogy with the site in the Krasnodar Territory. It is planned to receive significantly more raw materials - up to 20-25 thousand tons in the coming years. The company also intends to grow sunflowers with striped seeds.

The governor of the region, Viktor Tomenko, noted that Smart has already invested 300 million rubles in the purchase of new equipment. The company plans to create a large cleaning and calibration complex and is considering the possibility of purchasing an elevator. If these plans are implemented, this will lead to an increase in the number of employees of the enterprise and an increase in income for residents of the area.

The Smart company was founded in 2004 and occupies 19% of the market for sunflower seeds and peanuts in the Russian Federation. They also supply their products to Asian and European markets.
