Decrease in sunflower oil imports in Kyrgyzstan

According to the report of the National Statistical Committee, from January to September 2023, Kyrgyzstan purchased 25.2 thousand tons of sunflower oil worth 2 billion 374 million 617.6 thousand soms. This is 5.9 thousand tons, or 19% less than in the same period last year, Akchabar reports.

It is noted that the bulk of vegetable oil was imported from Russia - 21.1 thousand tons worth 1 billion 928 million 933.7 thousand soms.

In addition, 4.2 thousand tons of sunflower oil were delivered from Kazakhstan in the amount of 437 million 16.5 thousand soms. Small quantities of products were also purchased from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
