Syria and Russia have signed a contract for the supply of 1.4 million tons of wheat.

The Minister of Agriculture of Syria has announced that the country and Russia have signed a contract for the purchase of 1.4 million tons of wheat. The import process is going smoothly, with some of the goods already delivered to the ports of Syria.

There are plans to increase trade exchange between the two countries.

According to the statement of the Syrian Minister of Agriculture, Hassan Katana, Syria and Russia have signed a contract for the purchase of approximately 1.4 million tons of wheat. These supplies will be used by the Grain Association of Syria over the course of the year. Katana emphasized that the import process is proceeding successfully, and a significant amount of wheat has already been delivered to Syrian ports.

Furthermore, the minister expressed the intention to expand trade between the two countries.
