The SHIJIXIANGHE Agribusiness Group Co., Ltd., based in China, expresses readiness to implement an investment project for the construction of a wheat processing plant in Kazakhstan. The cost of this project exceeds $600 million. The meeting with investors took place under the auspices of "KAZAKH INVEST" and was attended by Azamat Kozhanov, managing director of the national company, Abzal Abdikarimov, deputy akim of the Aktobe region, Auez Taiymbetov, chairman of the board of directors of AO SPK Aktobe, as well as representatives of "NC KTZ" and "NC QazaqGaz."
SHIJIXIANGHE collaborates with Dalian Hesheng Holdings to find the optimal region for implementing the project in Kazakhstan. According to the plans, the annual wheat processing volume at the plant will be 1 million tons.
The main feature of the project is that by-products, such as wheat bran, can be used as animal feed, while another part can be used as fertilizer. Starch can be used as raw material for further diversified processing. We plan to produce other high value-added food products based on this starch. It is envisaged that the main market for the products will be the People's Republic of China, as well as other countries," reported KAZAKH INVEST.
The Kazakhstani side expressed readiness to provide necessary assistance in selecting a land plot, creating the required infrastructure, and concluding the necessary agreements for the successful implementation of the project.
