In accordance with the party's policies and the decree of the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un, who previously instructed to "create intense socialist competition to enhance the quality of production for the entire society by expanding the number of factories and enterprises that have received international quality certificates GMP," North Korean producers in various regions of the country have achieved success, reports the central news agency of the DPRK "Rodong Sinmun."

Thanks to the efforts of the Hyonnam T'aeson Fishery Complex and the General Food Factory of the Yalu River in producing high-quality products from local raw materials, they have obtained international GMP technical supervision certificates for the processes of processed fish products, processed seaweed, and kimchi production.

Several units in the North Korean food sector, including the Pyongyang Flour Milling Complex and the Ryonson Food Complex, strictly adhering to scientific and technical requirements for quality indicators, have also received GMP certificates for the production of instant noodles, canned goods, flour, and beer.

Workers and technical specialists at the Keson Korea Ginseng Processing Plant strictly monitor quality standards at every stage of ginseng product manufacturing, including pharmaceutical and phytopharmaceutical preparations. They have been awarded GMP certification.

Technological reform covers various industries and sub-industries in the DPRK. For example, in cities and districts of Ryanggang Province, a scientific-practical agricultural project is being carried out to combat climate threats. Technologies for drying wheat, barley, and potatoes are being studied, along with the use of triple cropping methods, growth stimulants for plants, and the application of fertilizers, including liquid ones. An advanced material base is being created, as reported by correspondent Chon Chhol Ju.

In Tongnim County of Phyongan-Bukto Province, a large-scale project is being implemented to establish economic forest plantations with the expansion of greenhouse facilities for seedling cultivation. To date, nursery employees have received training, and the material-technical base is being strengthened. A plant for the production of biological pesticides is also being built here, according to correspondent Kim Myong Hun.
