Rapeseed, in turn, occupies 4 thousand hectares (6%), and perennial and annual grasses grow on 2 thousand hectares (6%). This information is provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of this region.

Landowners continue to apply mineral fertilizers for winter crops and perennial grasses. At the moment, in the Ryazan region, fertilizers have already been applied to 277 thousand hectares of winter crop plantings (which is 80% of the plan) and to 18 thousand hectares of perennial grasses (34%). In total, in the Ryazan region in 2024, 335.6 thousand hectares of winter grain crops and 9.3 thousand hectares of oilseed crops were sown. The condition of winter crop plantings is at a satisfactory level.
