Entrepreneurs from Dagestan deceived the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance: false information about vineyards can lead to damage to the state.

The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) has discovered that several entrepreneurs from Dagestan have inflated data about their vineyards in the registry. This could have led to the illegal obtaining of subsidies. The materials have been transferred to law enforcement agencies. The investigation is ongoing. On September 13, 2024, the Administration of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Republic of Dagestan conducted quarantine phytosanitary monitoring and analyzed data on grape plantations in the Federal Register. As a result, it was found that entrepreneurs Hasayev T.T., Gadzhiev I.S., and Aslamkhanov G.I. provided false information about their grape plantations.

The checks revealed that Hasayev T.T. registered 293.7 hectares of vineyards in the Federal Register, but the actual area of the specified vineyards was only 128 hectares, with a variability of 10% to 20%. Gadzhiev I.S. also indicated 163 hectares of vineyards in the register, but in reality, their area was only 54 hectares, with a variability of 10%.

Such actions by entrepreneurs could lead to the unlawful receipt of subsidies and tax deductions for excise duties on wine materials.

Therefore, on October 7, the materials were transferred to the law enforcement agencies of the republic to take appropriate measures to prevent harm to the state and violations of the requirements of the Federal Law "On Viticulture and Winemaking in the Russian Federation."

Currently, the verification of information in the Federal Register of vineyards continues in the Administration.
