Russian agricultural producers are productive in the new season: 1.2 million tons of vegetables have been harvested in greenhouses.

In Russia, the leading regions in vegetable production are the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Moscow regions, Krasnodar Krai, and Kabardino-Balkaria. Farmers have harvested 1.2 million tons of vegetables in greenhouses, including 498.7 tons of tomatoes and 641.9 tons of cucumbers. Vegetables are grown in the closed ground in the Lipetsk, Moscow, Kaluga regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais.

In the field of vegetable growing in Russia, the leading regions in ground vegetable production at the moment are the Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Moscow regions, Krasnodar Krai, as well as the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

In addition, Russian farmers have harvested approximately 1.2 million tons of vegetables in greenhouses, which is consistent with last year's level. In this volume of the crop, tomatoes account for 498.7 thousand tons, and cucumbers for 641.9 thousand tons.

Traditionally, the main regions specializing in vegetable production in protected ground are the Lipetsk, Moscow, Kaluga, and Volgograd regions, as well as the Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais.
