According to the Agency "APK-Inform", there has been an increase in prices for feed barley at Ukrainian ports since last week.
It is reported that the amount of new grain harvest remains insufficient because agricultural producers are delaying sales, while importers show high demand. Additionally, barley prices are supported by the rising prices in the wheat market.
For example, in the port of Odessa, prices for feed barley have increased by 5-7 dollars per ton and as of July 29 range from 162 to 172 dollars per ton CPT-port. At the same time, in the port on the Danube, barley prices have increased by 1-3 dollars per ton and amount to 163 to 171 dollars per ton CPT-port.
