The rise in prices of sunflower, corn, and soybeans: a review of global agricultural markets and trends in the industry.

Analysis of global markets: sunflower seeds in Russia rose to 27.8 thousand rubles per ton, corn increased to 11.3 thousand rubles per ton, and soybeans are priced at 35.3 thousand rubles per ton. Global prices have also changed: sunflower seeds - 480.2 $/ton, corn - 181.0 $/ton, soybeans - 427.4 $/ton.

The total area under crop rotation is 8.8 million hectares.

An up-to-date review of the world markets for sunflower seeds, corn, and soybeans for the past Friday provides an opportunity to analyze prices and identify the latest trends in the industry.

According to the research, the price of sunflower seeds in Russia has increased by 2%, reaching 27.8 thousand rubles per ton. Southern regions demonstrate a price of 25.8 thousand rubles without VAT, while in the Center, the price of sunflower seeds is 28.5 thousand rubles, and in the Volga region - 28.5 thousand rubles.

The price of corn also shows an increase, rising by 1% and is now estimated at 11.3 thousand rubles per ton. In the Southern regions, you need to pay 12.4 thousand rubles without VAT for a ton of corn, in the Volga Federal District - 9.9 thousand rubles without VAT, and in the Central Federal District - 10.2 thousand rubles without VAT.

Soybeans have an average price of 35.3 thousand rubles throughout Russia. The lowest price is in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District - 26.9 thousand rubles without VAT. In the Center of the country, the price reaches 36.8 thousand rubles, and in the Far East - 34.6 thousand rubles.

Global prices have also undergone changes: the world sunflower market decreased by 4.1%, reaching 480.2 $/ton, calculated on FOB France terms. Corn on international exchanges has become cheaper by 1.2% and is now valued at 181.0 $/ton, calculated on FOB Argentina terms. The cost of soybeans also decreased by 3.4%, amounting to 427.4 $/ton, calculated on FOB Brazil terms.

As of July 11, successful crop rotation work has been carried out on an area of 8.8 million hectares.
