"Grain Company in Partnership" delivered 3.6 million tons of grain for export, which set a record for the entire history of the enterprise, said Dmitry Sergeev, CEO of LLC "Single Grain Company," in an interview with the Federal State Export Bureau of Agricultural Products.

During the agricultural season of 2023/24, the enterprise also set a record for the volume of grain transshipment. The largest grain terminal in the Azov and Black Sea region - "Novorossiysk Bakery Products Combine" - shipped almost 8.3 million tons of grain for export.

According to Sergeev, the grain group delivered grain to 19 countries during the past season. Africa, the Middle East, and Asia remain priority destinations. Wheat shipments to Egypt significantly increased compared to the 2022/23 season, and exports to Bangladesh increased by 50%. The enterprise continues to maintain cooperation with Turkish and Iranian partners and has entered the market of Indonesia for the first time.

In the 2023/24 season, the group of enterprises "Grain Company in Partnership" received accreditation as an approved grain supplier to participate in tenders in Algeria.

"Previously, in the 2022/23 season, we were registered in the list of suppliers of the Grain Office of Tunisia. We believe that we will be able to offer competitive delivery terms to our partners in the new agricultural season and beyond," said the CEO of LLC "Single Grain Company."

The enterprise also continues to act as a state agent of the Federal Intervention Fund for Agricultural Products. In December of last year, by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Single Grain Company started the second stage of intervention purchases. The first stage took place in 2022 when over 3 million tons of grain were purchased for the state fund for RUB 46.3 billion. In the second stage, over 1 million tons were purchased. Simultaneously with interventions, work continues on storing the purchased grain in various regions of the country.

Sergeev also shared plans for expanding the capacities of the Novorossiysk Bakery Products Combine (NBPC). In 2023, Single Grain Company completed the modernization of the above-ground infrastructure of the NBPC in several stages. New grain storage facilities were put into operation, grain receiving complexes from truck and rail transport were modernized. A complete reconstruction of internal railway tracks was completed, and their technological connection to the Russian Railways mainline network is expected soon. As a result, by 2028, the enterprise will be able to receive up to 7.3 million tons of grain per year from rail transport. The total investment of Single Grain Company in terminal modernization exceeds RUB 12 billion.

Currently, the enterprise plans to construct a new berth and export passage. Positive conclusions of the state environmental and main state expertise were obtained for the project documentation of the new berth. The estimated completion date of the construction works is 2026. The commissioning of the new berth and export passage will increase the volume of grain transshipment through the Novorossiysk Bakery Products Combine terminal to 11.6 million tons per year.
