In Russia, 29 companies are engaged in deep processing of agricultural raw materials. The total processing capacity of these companies reaches approximately 9000 tons per day. The number of employees is 6050 people, and the revenue of the companies amounted to 187 billion rubles in 2023.
"Processing Capacity"
The processing capacity of an enterprise is determined by the volume of processed raw materials (wheat, corn, potatoes) in tons per day. The rating takes into account only "full cycle" companies that start processing from the initial raw material - grains and potatoes. In this rating, the leaders in grain processing capacity are LLC "Cargill", LLC "Amilco", and JSC "Biotech Rosva". In potato processing, the first place is held by LLC "Mglin starch".
Enterprise Profit
The rating "Net profit of enterprises" includes companies that do not engage in the first stage of processing grains and potatoes but purchase ready-made products and produce "second stage" products. In this rating, the leaders are LLC "Cargill", CJSC "Premix Plant No. 1", and LLC "AMILCO". Separate sections show the profit of potato processing companies and companies engaged in the "second stage" processing of products.
The ratings allow comparing companies and seeing their achievements in the industry of deep processing of agricultural raw materials. They also draw attention from the public, professionals, and regulators to this industry. The ratings are compiled based on objective data on processing capacity and profit provided by the companies.
About the Association
The Association of Grain Deep Processing Enterprises (Soyuzkrakhmal) was founded in 1998 and unites 18 largest industry enterprises. It promotes the development of the industry and supports projects in scientific-technical, production, and social spheres.
