The forecast for the Ukrainian oilseed crop for the next season includes a reduction in volumes and prospects for an increase in soybean seed production.

It is projected that the total volume of oilseed crop collection in Ukraine in the 2024/25 season will amount to about 21 million tons, which is 3.1% less than the current harvest (21.68 million tons).

Next season is expected to see a 4.2% increase in soybean production compared to the previous year, from 4.8 million tons to 5 million tons.

On the other hand, sunflower production in the next season is expected to be at 12 million tons, which is 4.8% less than last year (12.6 million tons).

Additionally, rapeseed production may decrease by 4.8%, from 4.28 million tons in the 2023/24 season to 4 million tons in the next season.
