At the beginning of June, a transition from heat to rain with thunderstorms and strong winds is forecasted in the northern grain-growing regions. Heavy rains with possible hail are expected in the northern and northwestern regions, while a dusty storm is forecasted in the southwest, south, and southeast, according to meteorologists.
A slight decrease in night temperatures in the northern part of the country is expected from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, and during the day from 25 to 30 degrees. In the eastern part of the country, a slight increase is expected at night from 7 to 20 degrees Celsius, and during the day up to 35 degrees. In the southeast, a temperature increase is expected at night from 5 to 15 degrees Celsius, during the day from 22 to 30 degrees, while in the southern regions, strong heat is expected up to 40-42 degrees during the day.
The overall forecast for June indicates a variety of weather conditions with alternating cool and hot periods, with rains, thunderstorms, hail, squally winds, and dusty storms. The predominance of summer weather conditions will contribute to unstable weather throughout the month.
The first decade of June will bring short thunderous rains with increased temperatures in all regions of Kazakhstan. Only on some days, under the influence of cool Atlantic air, a decrease in heat will be noted, for example, in the western part of the country at night from +17 to +22 degrees and during the day from +27 to +32, while in various regions from +18 to +28 degrees at night and from +30 to +38 during the day, before the return of heat by the end of the decade.
Residents of the northern and central regions can expect a decrease in heat by the middle of the decade with temperatures from +10 to +15 at night and from +25 to +30 during the day. Eastern regions will see temperatures at night from +10 to +15, up to +20 in the south, and during the day from +22 to +30, with subsequent cooling at the beginning of the second decade.
In the south and in the Zhambyl region, a hot period is expected even at night, with temperatures from +20 to +28, and during the day up to +35-43 degrees, but by the end of the decade, a slight cooling is expected during the day to +28-33.
In the southeastern regions of the country, such as the Almaty region and the Zhetisu region, an increase in temperature is expected at night from +10 to +15 degrees, and during the day from +20 to +25, in the mountains at night from +2 to +7, and during the day from +10 to +15, with a decrease by the end of the second decade.
In the second and third decades of June, the south, west, and southeast of the country expect the hottest days with temperatures up to +33-40, in the southwest and south - up to +43, and cold days up to +22-27. In the northern half, center, and east of the country, temperatures fluctuate from +15 to +23 at night, and from +25 to +38 during the day.
According to reports, the sowing campaign is nearing completion, starting earlier than usual. Experts note a possible decrease in yield this season due to weather conditions in June-July.
