Winter barley in Belarus harvested almost 93% of the area

Winter barley in Belarus has been harvested on 92.8% of the total area, yielding 496.3 thousand tons. Winter rapeseed has been harvested on 18.1% of the total area, yielding 126.2 thousand tons. Flax has been threshed on 6.88 thousand hectares. Intermediate annual crops have been sown on 90.4 thousand hectares. A total of 9.6 million tons of feed units are planned to be obtained from grasses, of which 26.2% have been harvested.

Winter barley in Belarus has been harvested on 92.8% of the area, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

As of July 19, grain and leguminous crops (without corn, buckwheat, millet) harvested 160.6 thousand hectares, or 8.11% of the plan. 559.7 thousand tons of grain were harvested with an average yield of 36.6 centners per hectare.

Winter barley was harvested on 142.1 thousand hectares (92.8% of the harvested area), 496.3 thousand tons were harvested with an average yield of 34.9 centners per hectare. Winter rapeseed for grain was harvested on 60.4 thousand hectares (18.1% of the harvested area), threshed 126.2 thousand tons with an average yield of 20.9 centners per hectare.

Flax has been hauled out on 6.88 thousand hectares, which is 15.8% of the harvested area. Harvested 345.3 thousand tons of hay - 35.9% of the plan, 7862.2 thousand tons of haylage - 57.4% (including 254.3 thousand tons in polymer packaging), 344.9 thousand tons of grain haylage and 195.7 thousand tons of silage - 1.02%.

Intermediate annual crops were sown on 90.4 thousand hectares of land.

In total, this year it is planned to obtain 9.6 million tons of fodder units from grasses. By this time, 26.2% of the plan has been prepared. It is planned to harvest almost 19.2 million tons of silage, 13.7 million tons of haylage (including 1 million tons in polymer packaging), and 962.1 thousand tons of hay.
