In the agreement, conditions corresponding to the Food Security Doctrine are outlined. The parties have agreed to conduct scientific research in the agrobiotechnopark in the fields of natural and technical sciences, as well as in the production of rice, seeds, and vegetable hybrids.
"We are expanding the scope of activities of our agrobiotechnopark. Now it will deal not only with oilseeds, but also with grains and vegetables. As a result, it is becoming a center for the development and implementation of innovations in agriculture as a whole. We express our gratitude to our partners for their willingness to work in our agrobiotechnological park," noted Ivan Aristarkhov.
The RUSEED agrobiotechnopark, which will be located in the Republic of Adygea, is planned to open by the end of 2025. This facility is a modern center with infrastructure for conducting scientific research in the field of plant breeding and genetics. It will operate molecular laboratories, a phytotron complex, production facilities, and experimental plots.
"Collaboration with the RUSEED agrobiotechnopark opens up new opportunities for scientific research in agriculture. We are confident that joint efforts will contribute not only to increasing the yield and quality of agricultural crops but also to making an additional contribution to ensuring the country's food security," noted Sergey Garkusha.
