Orenburg region has started sowing spring crops: 6% of the plan has been seeded on 122.5 thousand hectares. News from the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Orenburg region has already sown 122.5 thousand hectares, which is 6% of the plan. Ilek district and Sol-Iletsk district lead in terms of sown area. Plowing and fertilizing of fields have been completed on a total area of 2 million 737.3 thousand hectares, exceeding the plan by 102%.

The Orenburg agricultural community continues sowing spring cereals and leguminous crops. Currently, 122.5 thousand hectares, which is 6% of the total plan, have already been sown, as reported by the local Ministry of Agriculture.

The largest sowing areas are located in the Ilek district - 17.7 thousand hectares and in the Sol-Ileck urban district - 9.2 thousand hectares.

The majority of the region has already completed plowing and fertilizing the fields. As of today, 2,737.3 thousand hectares have been plowed, which is 102% of the plan. The total area fertilized in the region as of April 30 was 439.2 thousand hectares, or 105%.
