A new plant for processing oilseeds will be opened in Krasnokamensk this year, announced the company "RapsOliya".

In June of this year, a plant specializing in processing oil crops will start operating in the city of Krasnokamensk. This news was announced by the regional representative of the company "RapsOliya" named Stanislav Kolpakov.

Stanislav Kolpakov noted that their young company is primarily involved in delivering spices from South-East Asian countries to the western part of Russia. In the Trans-Baikal region, they see prospects in the field of oil crop processing and subsequent supply of oil and cake to China. At the moment, they are finishing the installation of equipment for processing seeds with a capacity of 100 tons per day, and the launch is scheduled for the beginning of summer.

He also mentioned that their equipment will be able to process not only rapeseed but also flax, soybean, sunflower seeds, as well as medicinal plants. The purification system will also be able to process peas, chickpeas, and nuts.

"We are ready to purchase oil crops for processing from agricultural producers in the Trans-Baikal region. We also plan to cooperate with farms in terms of seed supply," added the company's representative.

In addition, in 2023, the company "RapsOliya" registered itself as a resident of the TOP "Krasnokamensk". In order to reduce customs payments, this company became the first in the region to obtain the status of a free customs zone on its territory.
