In January-November 2024, Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NZT) and Grain Terminal Complex Taman (ZTKT), both part of the "Demetra-Holding" corporation, set new records in grain turnover, the company's press service reports.
The volume of grain turnover at the Novorossiysk Grain Terminal for the period from January to November 2024 amounted to 6.6 million tons, which is a historical record for the terminal. This figure increased by 11% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, during January-November, the terminal improved the following indicators:
- The number of ships sent increased by 8% compared to January-November 2023, totaling 143;
- The number of received trucks increased by 16% and reached 106 thousand;
- The number of unloaded railway wagons increased by 2% to 46 thousand.
At the Grain Terminal Complex Taman, the volume of turnover reached a record 5.4 million tons in the first 11 months of the current year, which is 26% or 1.1 million tons higher than the results of the same period last year.
In addition, ZTKT also set records for the number of loaded ships and received trucks. During the 11 months, 130 dry cargo ships were sent, showing a 25% increase compared to the previous year, and 173 thousand trucks were unloaded, a 14% increase.
