According to the plan, this year the Ministry of Agriculture of Chuvashia conducted an inspection of the use of targeted budget funds allocated for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Chuvash Republic. This audit was conducted in seven municipal districts: Yadrinsky, Kanashsky, Shemurshinsky, Kozlovsky, Poretsky, Yalchiksky, and Krasnochetaisky.
A large volume of work was carried out as specialists analyzed the use of funds for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The inspection plan was fully executed: 75 recipients of state support were audited, including 27 legal entities, 43 peasant farms, and 5 individual entrepreneurs.
The head of the audit department of the reporting department of the agro-industrial complex and audit work of the Ministry of Agriculture of Chuvashia, Anatoly Takmakov, reported that "violations were identified in eight recipients of state support, including seven peasant (farm) households and one individual entrepreneur. The amount of state support that needs to be returned this year is 7,188 thousand rubles."
In the Yadrinsky, Kanashsky, and Yalchiksky municipal districts, joint inspections were conducted with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chuvash Republic.
The most common violations are in the area of state support, related to reimbursement of part of the costs for the development of elite seed production, as well as reimbursement of part of the costs in the form of a grant for the implementation of a project to develop promising directions in agricultural production (Perspective).
Violations were also identified in the reimbursement of part of the costs for the implementation of activities under the subprogram "Development of land reclamation of agricultural lands in the Chuvash Republic."
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia, Sergey Artamonov, noted: "Our task is not only to talk about achievements, records, and victories, but also to uncover the dishonesty, cunning, and even audacity of some farmers. We cannot refuse state support when everything meets the requirements, but serious violations are actually identified. I also address farmers - if you do not believe in your own abilities, do not participate in competitive selections, leave this opportunity to those who achieve honest results."
