The information source "APK News" reports that the province of Sichuan is interested in importing various products from Kazakhstan, including soybeans, meal, and other animal feed by-products, as well as sunflower and safflower oil. A Kazakhstani company focused on exports views the Chinese market as one of its priorities. Trade and business relations between Kazakhstan and China are rapidly developing. The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reported that China has lifted restrictions on the supply of meat and other agricultural products from the southeastern regions of the country. The export of livestock products from Kazakhstan has become significantly promising. Kazakhstani producers are now interested in supplying chilled meat and fish products, poultry meat and by-products, pork, eggs, and other agricultural products to the Chinese market, which has great export potential. To support the export of processed products, "QazTrade" is organizing a trade and economic mission for Kazakhstani goods producers from March 19 to 21, 2024, in Chengdu, China. According to FAO data, China plans to increase beef consumption by 1.1 million tons in the next 7 years, which will require an increase in imports by 0.8 million tons. Meat products are one of the main imported goods in China. Last year, "QazTrade" organized B2B meetings for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs in various cities in China, which led to agreements on the supply of oil and fat products, flour, powdered camel milk, confectionery products, compound feeds, and other goods. During the planned business trip to Chengdu this year, B2B negotiations and meetings between Kazakhstani entrepreneurs and representatives of Chinese manufacturing enterprises are scheduled. The province of Sichuan is interested in purchasing various Kazakhstani products, including soybeans, meal, sunflower, and safflower oil. Exporters of goods and services will have the opportunity to establish cooperation with business partners from China, negotiate with importers, traders, and distributors, and agree on product supplies.
