Karachay-Cherkessia plans to increase the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops to 496.9 thousand tons by 2030, which is 24.2% higher than the previous level. State support in the form of subsidies and expanding the arable land will help achieve the set goal. In 2024, producers were allocated 36 million rubles in subsidies.

Karachay-Cherkessia plans to increase the gross harvest of cereals and leguminous crops to almost 500 thousand tons by 2030, which is 24.2% more than in previous years, as reported by the "Interfax" news agency citing the Ministry of Agriculture of Karachay-Cherkessia.

The average annual level of gross harvest of cereals and leguminous crops for the last three-year period is 400 thousand tons. Forecast data show that by 2030, it is planned to achieve a gross harvest of cereals and leguminous crops at the level of 496.9 thousand tons.

The increase in volumes will be achieved with the help of government support, including subsidies, increasing the area of ​​agricultural land, and improving crop yields.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic, in 2024, grain and leguminous crop producers in Karachay-Cherkessia were provided with over 36 million rubles in subsidies.
