The agro-industrial holding company "KazFoodProducts" from Kazakhstan has been awarded the EDGE gender equality certificate, as reported by the holding's press service.
This document establishes standards and objectives to ensure equal opportunities for men and women in the private sector workplaces.
The group of companies "KazFoodProducts" became the first enterprise in Kazakhstan to successfully complete certification according to this standard. JSC "Bayan Sulu", JSC "AsiaAgroFood", LLP "Biooperations", LLP "EMC agro", and the parent company LLP "KazFoodProducts" have demonstrated compliance with international gender equality labor standards.
"According to the research institute McKinsey, gender equality contributes to increasing the efficiency of private companies and can boost the global GDP by 20%. Therefore, the well-deserved recognition of our agro-holding with the EDGE certificate is an important event for both the company and the country, and even for the entire Central Asian region," highlighted the CEO of LLP "KazFoodProducts", Alikhan Talgatbek.
