Governor Vladimir Vladimirov supports crop insurance in Stavropol, providing protection for agricultural producers.

Thanks to the comprehensive support of Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, the Stavropol region annually ranks among the top five leaders among Russian regions in terms of the volume of insured agricultural land," emphasized the first deputy minister of agriculture of the region, Evgeny Grishchenko.

State support in the form of agroinsurance is provided to agricultural enterprises of the region within the framework of the Stavropol region's state program "Development of Agriculture."

163 agricultural producers in the agro-industrial complex sector (including 37 peasant farms) used the mechanism of agroinsurance with state support – they concluded 297 insurance contracts, out of which 114 contracts were signed for cases of natural disasters.

Insurance companies paid agricultural producers of the region insurance compensation totaling over 415 million rubles this year.

Governor Vladimir Vladimirov emphasizes the importance of developing the agroinsurance tool in the region's agriculture.

For example, in 2025, it is planned to allocate 776.3 million rubles for state support in the field of crop production through agroinsurance in the region, which exceeds the current year's level by 1.08 times.
