The French government has transferred its important fuel reserves to French sugar producers, who warned of possible shutdowns of factories due to problems with sugar beet harvesting caused by a shortage of fuel for agricultural machinery. This was reported by Reuters agency, citing the National Syndicate of Sugar Manufacturers (SNFS).
This decision was made after a recent meeting of representatives of the sugar industry with the French Minister of Agriculture, Marc Fesneau, as reported by the news agency Regnum.
