The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) is conducting an inspection of mayonnaise, vegetable oil, margarine, and salt manufacturers to ensure compliance with competition rules.

The antimonopoly authority has requested data on the production and sales of mayonnaise, oil, margarine, and salt. Companies with a dominant position in the market must comply with competition laws, including a ban on inflated prices. In case of violations, response measures may be applied.

The antimonopoly authority has requested mayonnaise, vegetable oil, margarine, and food salt manufacturers.

Companies are required to provide data on production and sales volumes, as well as information on costs, wholesale prices, and profitability of sales.

The organization reminds that companies with a dominant position in the market must comply with the prohibitions established by the Competition Law, including the prohibition on setting inflated prices. If violations are found, the antimonopoly authority has the right to take responsive measures.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has sent 24 requests to mayonnaise manufacturers, 10 to vegetable oil manufacturers, 21 to margarine manufacturers, and 7 to food salt manufacturers.
