This year, Tatarstan's grain exports reached 675,000 tons, exceeding last year's figure by 5,000 tons. According to the press service of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Grain Quality Assessment Center," in 2024, the volume of grain exports from this region amounted to 670,000 tons, exceeding the previous year.
Albert Kadyrov, the head of the phytosanitary control and grain quality control department, explained that Tatarstan actively supplies wheat to various countries, including China, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, as well as barley and rye to European countries. During the harvesting campaign, Tatarstan farmers harvested 3.7 million tons of grain on 1.3 million hectares with an average yield of 27.9 c/ha.
