In July, the first month of the new 2024/25 agricultural year, Russia may export 2.5 million tons of wheat, compared to 4.2 million tons in July 2023 (a decrease of 68%), according to the forecast of the "Rusagrotrans" Agricultural Center.
At the end of June, analysts predicted exports in July at 2.8 million tons. The forecast was revised downward due to the current export pace in the first decade of the month (around 0.7 million tons). "This is the lowest figure since July 2021 and 2022 (2.25 and 2.23 million tons respectively)," Rusagrotrans told Interfax.
