On January 28th, experts from the St. Petersburg branch of the FGBU "TSOK APK" carried out the process of coloring Russian wheat for export to Morocco in the port of Vyssotsky (Leningrad region) for the first time. According to Rosselkhoznadzor, the total volume of the dispatched batch amounted to 28 thousand tons.
Coloring is a new service provided by the department, allowing the grain to be colored to meet the requirements of importing countries.
In particular, Morocco and Saudi Arabia have special requirements for coloring feed grain. In this case, specialists used a green dye called E-142, which fully complies with international safety standards. In addition, experts conducted research to verify the quality, safety, absence of harmful organisms in the grain, as well as its fumigation.
Upon completion of the operation, all necessary documents were prepared, including a denaturation certificate. As a result, coloring can become an additional tool to support the export of Russian grain to the countries of the Middle East.
