Members of the Legislative Assembly are consistently defending their position regarding the introduction of new export duties on rapeseed.
Back in August, the head of the regional legislative body, Alexey Dodatko, addressed the Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev on this issue at the initiative of agrarian deputies. Parliamentarians believe that the introduction of new duties could seriously harm many agricultural producers in the region.
Recently, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Rural and Agricultural Issues, Vladislav Zyryanov, held a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agricultural Issues, academician Vladimir Kashin, to discuss this problem.
"Vladimir Kashin shares the concerns of Siberians. He promised to thoroughly discuss this issue with the Ministry of Agriculture. I hope that State Duma deputies will be able to influence federal officials, upon whose decision the fate of the region's agricultural enterprises that once bet on rapeseed depends. Currently, agrarians risk losing everything," said Vladislav Valeryevich.
Also discussed at the meeting was the need to increase funding from the federal budget to compensate for the transportation costs of regions for grain and oilseed crops. Another topic was the inclusion of the Siberian factor in the agro-industrial complex, which is currently not taken into account by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture when determining the level of government support for agricultural producers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
