According to the information received, the grain carrier vessel of the company "RIF" from Russia has obtained a phytosanitary certificate after spending a long time in the port. There are 63 thousand tons of wheat on board the ship, intended for delivery to the Government Agency for Procurement of Foodstuffs of Egypt (GASC).
This information was provided by the Grain Online agency. As previously noted, nine vessels of the company "RIF" have been unable to leave the port since March 18 due to the lack of phytosanitary certificates from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor). In early April, two of these vessels obtained the necessary certificates and set off to their destinations.
A source at the company "RIF" also added that recently two more vessels arrived at the port of Novorossiysk, which will also transport wheat for GASC. One of these vessels is already loaded.
