The price of sunflower seeds in Russia has increased by 2.4% on average and reached 26.7 thousand rubles. In the southern regions, a ton of this crop is valued at an average of 25.1 thousand rubles excluding VAT, in the central regions – at 26.8 thousand rubles, and in the Volga region – at 27.5 thousand rubles.
Corn has increased in price by 0.8% on average and now costs 11 thousand rubles. In the southern regions of Russia, the average cost of this crop is 12.1 thousand rubles without VAT, in the Volga Federal District – 10.2 thousand rubles without VAT, and in the central regions – 9.8 thousand rubles without VAT.
Soybeans on average throughout Russia cost 35.4 thousand rubles, the lowest price for them can be found in the North Caucasus Federal District – at 26.9 thousand rubles without VAT. In the central regions, soybeans cost 37.1 thousand rubles, and in the Far East – 34.3 thousand rubles.
In the global markets, sunflower seeds have risen by 1.4% over the past week (to 487.9 $/ton, FOB France), the price of corn has decreased by 0.6% (196.8 $/ton, FOB Argentina), and soybeans have become cheaper by 0.8% (445.3 $/ton, FOB Brazil).
As of June 20, Russia has planted 54.1 million hectares, including 10.4 million hectares of sunflower, 2.6 million hectares of corn, and 4 million hectares of soybeans.
