Prices for agricultural products in Russia and global markets: analysis of changes over the week.

In the latest overview: changes in the prices of sunflower, corn, soybeans, and rapeseed over the past week.

In the domestic market of Russia, the average price of sunflower increased by 0.8%, reaching 35.6 thousand rubles. In the southern regions, the price was 35.3 thousand rubles excluding VAT (+1.2% for the week), in the Central region – 36.6 thousand rubles (+1.2%), in the Volga region – 36.7 thousand rubles (+0.3%).

The average price of corn in Russia is 13.8 thousand rubles (+0.5% for the week). In the southern regions, the price remains at 12.7 thousand rubles excluding VAT (+0.1%), in the Northwestern Federal District – 14.1 thousand rubles (-5.5%), in the Central Federal District – 14.3 thousand rubles (+2.0%).

The average price of soybeans in Russia is 35.4 thousand rubles. The lowest prices can be found in the North Caucasus Federal District – at 27.5 thousand rubles excluding VAT. In the Central region, the price is 38.7 thousand rubles (+0.8% for the week), in the Far East – 32.4 thousand rubles (+0.4%).

The average price of rapeseed in Russia is 31.9 thousand rubles. In the North Caucasus Federal District, rapeseed is sold for 24.5 thousand rubles excluding VAT, in the Central region – 36.1 thousand rubles (-4.2% for the week), in Siberia – 31.3 thousand rubles (-2.9%).

In the global markets, over the past week, the price of sunflower decreased by 4.1% to 663.5 dollars per ton (FOB France), corn price dropped by 2.0% to 206.6 dollars per ton (FOB Argentina), soybean price decreased by 0.2% to 423.9 dollars per ton (FOB Brazil), rapeseed price decreased by 20.2% to 448.3 dollars per ton (FOB France).

As of November 28, harvesting of grains has been completed on an area of 46.8 million hectares (97.7% of the plan), including 2.5 million hectares of corn. Sunflower has already been harvested on 10.3 million hectares, soybeans on 4.2 million hectares, and rapeseed on 2.7 million hectares.
