October white sugar LSUc1 rose 0.7% to $720.50 a metric ton, approaching a 12-year high of $740.20 set earlier this week, Nasdaq reported.
The market remains supported by crop concerns in India and Thailand as dry weather threatens to limit production.
October raw sugar SBc1 rose 1.3% to 25.38 cents a pound.
